i was walking my dog on my bike today and on the way home this old white woman in a swamp green 70s civic flags me down. she asks me if i give the dog water. i stare at her blankly thinking whats going on? she then says that the dogs tongue is hanging out and it needs water. i'm thinking bullsh*t, the dogs mouth is open, its breathing because its exercising. i've tried giving it water during walks, it takes two licks and stops. then she says that she'll call the police next time. at this point i i blow. what right does she have to attack my character? and based on what? she probably saw me and the dog for a minute tops.. since i cut across grass etc at the park. hell half the time the dog is in front of the bike leading me around and most of the time i just coast slowly. course i dont' get to explain because as soon as she finished threatening me with the police she started to drive away. what kind of b*tch builds a case in their head, attacks someone and doesn't allow for response? she drove off quick with her little weenie dog in the back.

argh self righteous b*tch. my dog brings its rope bone over to me after walks to play fetch. you can't wear him out.

what kind of moron expects a civil conversation when jumping to conclusions and threatening with police?

LOL! This one made me laugh. I'm like, was that really relevant? Why the need to know she was a White woman? But I guess mentioning she was White is as important as learning that she was old or that she was a woman. Maybe that really did shed some light.

Really though, I know we all subconsciously mention things that at the end don't seem relevant. I'm guilty of it myself . . . the race, gender, sexuality, etc. So I won't crucify you.

As for your main point, I do agree. I don't care if it's a dog or anything else. I dislike when people meddle into someone else's business. I'm not fond of such people. And I'm not fond of control freaks. She sounds like a control freak. I wouldn't call her a female dog also known as a nasty woman (hint: b**ch), though.

Yes the race, gender, and age of a person is all relevent when you are talking about them. It provides more information so the reader can form a better opinion.

Here we go again! When last I checked, persuasion was and is not the same as instructing. I tried to persuade, not tell someone what to do. But most importantly, an opinion was requested, so it was not an uninvited expression. Controlling on the other hand usually means unsolicited expression and push of authority (and possibly coercion), instead of by means of persuasion or suggestion.
