ever learn a new language?

I took four years of French in high school. AP French and all but failed that test with a 1 lol. I took a placement for French for UCLA and they put me in level 3, equiv to third year. I can read pretty well and get the understanding. I can listen and understand as well, but speaking is the hardest because im still at that stage where im trying to translate in my head before i say it.

I went on a trip to France for about a week and I picked up more than in the 4 years of French. With the basic foundation of the classes, I was able to get around by myself.
