When I was growing up my parents listened to stuff like that all the time.

Have you ever heard of them?

Yeah my dad sounded like Dean Martin a lot and used to sing his songs around the house all the time.

All I have is the old vinal type records, except for a couple Christmas Cds. I wish I had their stuff on cd.

If I own a copy on vinal then it isn't stealing. At least I don't think it is? Yeah dialup sucks.

Man that kind of music is quite nice.

I enjoy the musical pieces done by Sinatra & Gene Kelly. With the tap dancing and all. Sadly this is before my time and since I wasn't brought up here, I know next to nothing about them.

Old jazz music is also pretty good. Its a shame this type of music isn't being produced anymore...although I guess stuff by Norah Jones (for example) is pretty similar.

Yeah you can watch some of it on Turner Clasic Movies or whatever it is called. This type of music is all my parents would listen to. My dad knew most of the songs by heart, and sang them often. I don't listen to it all that often anymore, but like the genre of music. What is this music called? Big Band or something?

All the time. Check out Michael Buble. He's a young guy and, in some songs, I swear he sounds exactly like Frank. He's really good.

I/We listen to that genre all the time. Grew up in Spokane, (Bing's home town) and met him a couple times as a kid. My mom used to babysit his kids when he'd come to town.

Buble has a great voice. Not a huge fan, but it's easy to listen to.

All the time, I really enjoy Frank, Dean and all those guys. I had a Frank greatest hits compilation a while back, loaned it to a buddy of mine. He game the cd case back missing the cd's....:(

Sinatra is one of the all time greats, he's one of my favorite singers. Even though he didn't write the songs, and certainly wasn't the first to perform them, there are so many songs that when you hear them you think "Sinatra" because he gave the music a face and a voice.
