On the 605 in California, got tagged from the right rear, did a complete 360 in front of a semi truck. Landed in nearby lane, stalled. Looking head on at the semi I thought I was toast.

It was raining out and my friend was going too fast to get off at the exit we were supposed to. Instead of him just getting off at the next one, he decides to try to make the turn. So we're doing 40 and hes trying to make a sharp turn, it's raining out, and the car has sh!tty brakes. Luckily once he saw he wasn't going to make the ramp, he stopped turning and hit the brakes. So we leave the road and start going down this 15 foot hill. If he had still tried to turn the car wouldve undoubtedly rolled. We stopped about 5 feet away from a big fvcking tree.

EDIT: While it was happening I was laughing hysterically. Once I realized I almost died I was in shock.

Skiing... Took a sharp right way too fast and went off the slope into the woods. Rolled through a thicket for awhile and came to an abrupt stop. Got lodged under one of the water pipes for the snowmaking machines. Opened my eyes to look down a fifty foot dropoff into heavier woods if the pipe hadn't stopped me.

Friend entered an E-way over an embankment almost straight down onto the middle lane.

Gotta love those 500ci FWD Caddilacs, they're built like a tank.

I hydroplaned while attempting to get off the highway on an off-ramp... trying to turn up the ramp and just kept going straight... but I didn't think I was going to die... just felt very bad for the damage that was about to incur... but none taken... ended up on top of an empty sand area where normally sand barriers would be... got lucky. Other than that, never been in a scary situation... unless you count dreams.

I almost fell over a cliff while hiking in the winter once... hit a patch of ice and slid within a foot of it, luckily I managed to grab a branch to stop myself from going over. Tore the hell out of my hand on the branch though, but it was a fair trade.
