Borrowed that from my brother's friend to try it out. OUCH! Lag beyond belief. All my other games like SC/BW, HL, UT, Q3, Deus Ex, ETC, all run nice but Evil Islands holy crap it's like Diablo II on crack! IMO it doesn't have good enough graphics to lag that badly. It is quite evil indeed. 
Who has it and who runs it decently? I'm sure most of you run it well though since your computers are probably a lot better than mine.
