Ever heard of Sapphire Radeon 9600Pro "Advantage" ?

Have anyone ever heard of Sapphire Radeon 9600Pro 128M with an "Advantage" wording after it? How's that different from the usual 9600Pro?

That "advantage" 9600Pro 128M = $115 Cdn and 9600XT 128M = $165 Cdn. I saw those reviews that they only have a few fps difference. Does it worth to go for the 9600XT?

Thanks for help.

If you don't mind overclocking I've heard that 9600 pro can pretty easily clock to XT speeds w/ just stock cooling.

If its within a few fps of a 9600XT, then at least it doesn't have a 64 bit memory bus.

None of the 9600s are really good buys right now. You can do better for less. Look for used 9800 Pros and 9700 Pros for AGP. For PCIe, look at 6600s.

From my perspective, the only real big advantage to getting a 9600 pro or XT is if your unsure about the stability of your power supply. I think all of the cards above the 9600XT require an extra power cable... Otherwise yea u could even just go for a 9800 Non-pro for about the same price.

So there's no advantage at all. What a lie. I bet they gonna call those half-bandwidth versions as "Ultra" soon.

Thx all.
