Ever heard of a "Mach Power" Digital camera?

Mach digital camera?

Anyone ever hear of a Mach Power digital camera? Price is darn cheap, so I have every reason to suspect it'll suck, but never heard of them before. If they're even medicore, I might consider one considering the price.

I know many people don't like Tiger Direct, but I'd appreciate any comments on the camera. I suspect the name is a 3rd party name (IE - It's built by someone else)... and if that's the case, does anyone recognize who may have made it?

You get what you pay for. Is this for yourself or someone else? If it's for yourself, you could snag a spiffy used Canon from FS/FT.

I suspect image quality will be like a 3MP camera, only with a higher resolution.

Looks good on paper though.

sorry, it doesn't even look good on paper.

I took a picture with a Casio exilim EX-S3. It has the same size 1/2.5" image sensor as that Mach camera. How does this look?

and that's down to 640x480. trust me, it was worse at 3 megapixels.

Now blow that up to 5 megapixels and you have the mach.
