Sometimes I can hear what sounds like liquid being released in the back of my head/neck region. Anyone else experience this? Any idea what it is?

Your brain is slowly liquefying. Plug your ears and nose or it will run out! Quick!

Seriously though - water in the ears?

Possible. I am sick right now, so it would make sense that it's sending something out.

It's definitely not water in the ear. I can hear it being released for 10-15 second in the back of my head/neck region.

Yes, its happens for a certain group of people who are prone to Migraine headaches.

There are arteries/veins in the back of the neck that constrict and/or relax usually before the onset of a Migraine (or prior of it going away)... When they constrict you can hear the fluid squeezing through the arteries.

Apparently Caffeine has an effect on it, as Migraine headache pills always contain Caffeine as part of its dose. If you get that feeling it could also related to any amounts of Caffeine you have (a high dosage might cause it to happen more, etc)

I do drink quite a bit of caffeine and I have also suffered from migraines in the past. This is probably what I'm looking for.
