I've taken a few EVPs myself. Been told to get out before, as well as been asked for help. I'd link the wavs but they're only on non-digital equipment, and the noisy inputs on my computer render it unlistenable.

so where is it?

hmm... i thought theres two types of evps, or voices you can catch. one from hauntings (ghosts that stays at a location) or random ghosts (i guess they are just passing by?)/

Where's what? I told you, I can't put the waves online, because the only way to get them into a computer is through inputs that are so noisy, you can't even tell that somebody is speaking. The paranormal voice is distorted and hard to hear anyway, but after recording is put into the computer, you can barely even tell what the investigator is saying. Believe me, I'd love to share them, if I could.

As for getting EVP, you can try it anywhere, and you might get one anywhere, but the most common places to catch them, is haunted areas.
