for those of us that eat here once in a while, have you ever heard of telling them to "Mac Up" one of your sandwiches?

if you say "Mac it up" for your sandwich in London, Ontario they will give you the same hamburger but with Big Mac toppings.

ie. my brother got a couple double cheeeseburgers but they "Mac'd it up" with Big Mac toppings instead of whatever else they normally put on.

can you do this in your region?

he also said he tried it at a McD's in another city and the girl just gave him a  look. he ended up getting the same burger & toppings but with some Big Mac sauce. LOL

So he got a cheese burger with lettuce and thousand island dressing?
and pickles and onions.

pickles and onions come one the normal ones
you're right.

saying "mac it up" doesn't change your burger at all.

pretty dumb thread. i guess i'll do some work.

McDonald's is the only fast food restaurant that my GI tract punishes me, without fail, for eating.

You've never been to any of the 7 circles of Taco Hell before?

McDonald's will give me an upset stomach, but the last time I ate Taco Bell, I didn't even make it two hours without forcibly expelling everything I'd eaten.

When I lived in iowa we had a "mac jr" which was essentially a cheeseburger with lettuce, onions, mac sauce. When I moved to FL they didn't have a mac jr, so until I banned fast food from my diet, I just had them add mac sauce to my cheeseburger.

I go to McDonalds so infrequently that I usually do get the Big Mac just to punish myself and to remind me why I don't go there normally in the first place.
