I've had it where it cuts off before the tank is even close to full, so i have to sit there and hold it halfway so it will keep fueling. that pisses me off. Does anyone know why this happens occasionaly?

that's why ALL states should do what NJ and OR do, mandatory gas pumping. 🙂

I'm going to have no choice but to go through Oregon again I fear. I'm pumping my own gas though. Fvck moronic laws. Or maybe I'll just bring a whole bunch of gas cans and fill them up before I drive through Oregon. I don't care what I have to do.

First of all, it slows me down. Second of all, I hate the idea of letting some unknown schmuck touch my car. I don't valet park and I don't go to any mechanic that I haven't thoroughly researched. Thirdly I hate, hate, hate the implication that I'm too dumb to know how to use a cas pump but some HS dropout is competant. Finally, it's something of a ritual. I know the car better than anyone else and I like to stay connected to it.Originally posted by: TwinkleToes77

I was fiddling in the trunk and I heard a splashing, looked over and saw that the pump was pumping onto the ground, kinda like that movie with that white guy and martin short 🙂 Never had it happen before. Now my shoes are rank with gasoline, which is an even worse smell than my feet.
