ever have a cut that just won't heal?

last week I sliced the end of my finger while doing an install on an '03 mustang. The stupid dash had edges like razor blades. I have tried all the usual stuff, but this little ah heck won't heal. Today I got pissed and just ripped the skin off from where it was flapping.

Anyone have any better ideas?

I had one I got last October that took about a month to "heal" but there's still a huge scar from it. Looks like I tried to slit my upper forearm.

Did you disinfect the wound with hydrogen peroxide or any other common household disinfectant? If you did, just wait a little more. It will heal, eventually....

I sprayed it with the stuff from the first aid cabinet at work. I also put neosporin on it. I guess the cut was deeper than I thought.

No..but I have had a couple random rash-type areas on my arms/hands..one was on my right hand, ring finger next to the second knuckle..a dry, scaly area about 1/4" circle..that went away, now I have the same thing on the underneath of my left forearm, only about 1x3/4" long 😕

Just wait for a little longer. Some cuts(deep) take longer to heal.

too late. I already pulled the offending piece of skin off. Now I have a gash and a spot missing a couple layers of skin.
