ever had a teacher that's simply a nut?

I have one right now for "drawing and painting" she definitely has quite a few screws loose. a very very frightening (and insulting) woman. I actually have had nightmares about her coming into my house when nobody else is home and acting nutty.

*shudder* I have to go to probably 3 more of her classes. I thought I was done on friday, but it appears I'll have to endure more.

I've heard about insane teachers (ie, a highschool science teacher who occasionally stopped lectures to feed her imaginary cats) but never experienced any myself.

How long are the classes?

Oh god yea she was a freak it was a college math can't remember what sooo long ago.

anyways this lady was insane she talked really fast and excited in nervous sort of way and the worst part was
she formed foam spittle at the corners of her mouth and the would gather and build up until little pieces of foam would
go flying out towards the class, oh god the horror of that made that class impossible, I still have nightmares ack heeeelp meeee.

I once had an English Lit teacher in HS that asked the whole class "Have any of you ever screamed out the wrong name during sex? I have, god was that embarrassing." The entire class (HS seniors) fell dead silent, everyone looked at each other trying not to laugh . She then continued with the discussion like nothing had happened.

I had some whackos, although most of them were nuts in the cool kind of way.
Like my Astronomy teacher, best described as Mr. Rogers with a bad attitude. I was late to class on president's day and he accused me of shirking my academic responsibilities so that I could go buy underwear on sale at Victoria's Secret.
He also declared that everyone in Florida is either dying or Cuban.

He was a funny dude.

I was once commenting to my mother about the crazy history teacher I had back in HS, and mentioned his name.

She had him as a history teacher when she went to that HS too! :Q

Yes. One of the programs at my school is staffed almost entirely by nutcases. I won't say more until I graduate!

My C++, Data Structures and Visual Basic professor is crazy, but in a good way. He's fricken hilarious. He's very energetic, and likes to make all sorts of weird gestures. I remember he was telling us how to sort a linked list, and he was like "Then you follow the pointer to the next guy, and compare the two, and if they're not in order, you.... SWAP 'EM!!" and to illustrate swapping them, he would first pull up his right pant leg, and then his left, and would then goosestep around the room acting the part of the memory manager. Great guy

My gal has been teaching 9th grade for 3years. According to her most teachers never see the real world. They go straight from college to teaching, they only live life on campus.
This is an isolated and insulated way of going through life.

My german teacher (who looked like a chicken) was so psychotic she picked up and threw an overhead projector at some kid once. (she had a BAD temper) she lost her job.

One of my HS chemistry teachers liked to blow things up...once set off a dry ice bomb (2 liter coke bottle 1/2 full of water, drop in dry ice, screw on cap, RUN!!!) behind the school. Never quite trusted the other chem. teacher - he was missing a couple fingers.

Also had a history teacher who looked exactly like the hippie teacher on Beavis & Butthead.

Creative writing is... Well, DUH. You have to be insane to teach that
