I do at lunch all the time. At dinner I'd feel a little uncomfortable- like I was a divorced depressed guy or something.

I'm sure I'll be doing it plenty since I'll be living alone in 4 cities in a year.

I'm technically a pathetic loser with no friends, but that's a different story. Anyway, I never used to go out to eat alone. I would do fast food but rarely went to real sit-down places. Lately, I've decided I just don't care anymore and have been going to a few nicer places on occaision. I find myself sitting at the bar or near a TV a lot though. Just part of overcoming self-consiousness I guess...

I did once. A nice ribs joint.
I was in town to scout a place to live and wanted to eat before hopping on a plane.
Halfway through I realized I was running out of time so I skipped out.
