Ever get sick of tweaking your system?

Ok here I am into my 3rd XP install of the day. I had the system up and stable last night and I just had to install the memory interleave tweak. So, my system crashed on reboot and would not start. I have a corrupt C: disk now and need to reformat. :(

That's it, after this I am done with tweaking. Going to stick with stable drivers and not OC. Everytime I mess with this system I screw myself. Oh well, just got some beers for the project. Maybe if I drink enough I can fix it :)

Can get old, especially if you're tweaking your primary system. As long as you've got a stable backup it's not as bad

Yeah. I go through phases where I'm all into my computer then sick of it. I haven't done anything major to my computer in about 6 or 7 months. :) My next big project is new mobo and cpu. But that won't be for a while. :)

yes, especially when my comp doesn't boot

from p-3 slot 1 650 (100) to 866 (133) is nothing: i run at default voltage

to get to 1gig...I had to spend too much money and it still doesn't get there

Yeah I was dumb. I have two dud p3-700s that I swore was my motherboards problem that they would not do 933 so I bought a VP6. The VP6 proved the chips were duds :( Anyway sold the VP6 to an Anand member, so that's cool.

Still I managed to screw up my disk and for some reason one of my memory banks no longer works. No more tweaking (for a least a week :) )
