Ever found something unexpected in your apartment?

I just found a souvenir from the previous tenant in my apartment: a butane lighter hidden within the heater running along the wall. Not something I like to find in my bedroom after 9 years. Conjures images of an apartment fire starting while I sleep. Still sparks but out of fuel. I wonder if it was empty when placed there or just evaporated during my residency.

I had no idea it was there until I ran my finger along the baseboard heater to check how hot it was.

i havent found anything but i do remember hiding a bb handgun in the ac duct in my room from my mom. everyday I wake up wondering if i should go back to that apt and asking if i can get my bbgun back.
