Just once, on my way to Texas. You could see lightening out the windows and plane was shaking quite a bit.

EDIT: It was pretty fvcking scary.

Yep, some here. Thing is i saw the lighting but heard no thunder** .. what the fu ck! Is the airplane that loud? ?>

At first, the thought of flying through thunderstorms scared me but then I read up on it and even if lightning struck the plane, everything would be okay.

I was on a plane a few mo's back (sometime earlier this year don't remember exactly which one)...

Anyway lightning hit the plane. Saw a bright flash, and heard the noise, and pretty much that was it, plane did fine. Still scared me but I guess it happens frequently enough and it's not really an issue. The takeoffs and landings can be a bit of an issue so sometimes they'll reroute to a different airport of weather is an issue, they are pretty conservative about those kinds of things so I tend not to worry about it.

yep. and there was a tornado warning at the airport as well. it was bad, but not too bad. just a lot of turbulance.
