Ever feel like you work with the stupidest people in the world?

my car was snowed in this morning. tried taking a snow day, but was basically told that I absolutely had to come in so they sent a company car to pick me up and take me to work.

now here it is 8 hours later and my shift is over. no one thought to tell the driver that I'd need a ride home too, so he's totally MIA, and every single cab company in the area is basically either refusing to pick me up (combination of snow + I work in a bad neighborhood) or are closed :|

so I'm stuck with either: walk home (see above about working in a dangerous neighborhood... while I'd probably get home alive, I have my doubts about whether or not I'd still have my wallet, car keys, cellphone, winter coat, hat, and scarf), get a hotel room at a hotel down the street ($$), or call and wake up my dad at 1 am and feel like a total douche asking him for a ride.

you're to blame for not covering your own ass from the beginning, and actually assuming that someone else would worry about how you got home.

[/looking out for number one attitude]

Considering that, in the summer, I work with like 100 mormons....

I didn't read your post, just responding to the title. 😛
