Kind of late here, but unless you're posting at the library, you have a PC you can sell, and an internet bill you can stop paying.

Get a job at McD's or a restaurant or in retail sales or manual labor. Put up a Craigslist ad for doing odd jobs.

Negotiate with your landlord to pay the rent late (plus interest). Show him all your rejection letters so he knows you've been trying. You start work on the 2nd, so make sure you point that out too. It takes time to rent an apartment, so unless you're in an extremely high demand area, you can probably work out something.

You could take pictures of Spiderman and sell them to the Daily Bugle.

K... wake up. You do whatever the hell you have to do. I've been there - with 3 kids no less. Seriously, it's the holiday season. If you have a heartbeat, you have about 80-bajillion retailers that will hire you. GO.. NOW.. STOP POSTING AND WHINING. I'm not trying to berate you, I'm just saying find anything until someone picks up your resume and hires you for something better. Some money > no money and not being able to afford to drown your sorrows.

I have nothing of value to sell (car isn't worth anything), and honestly, even if I did scrape together enough, what then? I?d have 0 dollars saved and even an oil change would send me broke. I have too much pride to live out of my car or in a homeless shelter, I?d rather die.

Good gawd, get a grip. You can find work to sustain yourself until something better comes along.
