my roommate during my junior year of college was Mat, with one "t." that's how he wrote it on the whiteboard outside our room. every time I walked by it, though, I'd add the extra "t" at the end. it used to piss him off to no end, especially since he didn't know who was doing it 
I forgot to include the incident that inspired this thread... a couple days ago, I registered the .com of my roommate's name and have it redirecting to that "I'm looking at gay porn" joke page. if he ever stumbles across it and wants the domain, though, I'd be more than happy to give it to him.
