Ever buy anything from a spam email?

What have you bought based on an unsolicited email you received from an unknown sender?

I often wonder "someone's gotta be making money -- but how!?" Yes, I know about pay-per-click and pay-per-visit -- but I'm really wondering if anyone ever buys the actual product being 'advertised.'

I was skimming a book at the bookstore about the email spam industry, and it seems that mortgage offers actually get responses. Granted, very low response rate, but enough to keep spammers going.
There were also comments regarding cutting back on pr0n spam due to tougher laws.

(Comment on 'no, this isn't a parody' because I saw a post about buying stuff from infomercials a few posts ahead of this one)

No, for many reasons. The majority are scams, I assume all of them are scams, I won't support spamming, and I don't read them unless there may be a naked lady inside.
