I am considering buying a downloadable game from the egg.

What sucks is that they don't mention file size. How long will I be downloading for?

It all depends on the game and your connection, no real answers can be given without those two. Why don't you go to a torrent site, search the game, find out the file size, and calculate compared to your connection speed. That, or you could just d/l the game through the same torrent site, but that's up to you.

No warez. Or pirating. OP- Expect at least 3 hours. Maybe more.

I am looking at UT2004 and/or BF1942. The latter I left at my dad's in ATL and $6.99 is easier than having him mail it to me.

UT looks to be about 3.5 gigs and BF1942 looks about 1.1 gigs. Your connection is the deciding factor on how long it will take to download these games.

Dunno. Does it? How about Desert Combat?

I have a 3Mbps connection from Verizon DSL.
