Yes, when I was young (maybe like 8-9). It caught fire really quick, turned to molten rubber even quicker, dripped onto my hand, sizzled a second, and stuck there. :frown: It was quite painful at the time. I still have a faint mark on my hand where the drip landed - and this was ~17 years ago! :Q

Actually some incident 488 nM struck a bag of rubber bands before the shutter slammed and the resulting smoke was quite pungent.

Try getting some sky blue rubber bands next time. This way they shouldn't burn.
