Basically, some ASUS motherboards come with "Q-Connectors," which are basically small pin adapters allowing you to plug in USB, Firewire, and front-panel sound connections to a small assembly before plugging the assembly into the motherboard itself. They're really handy if your case has USB, audio, or firewire cables with the pin connections all seperated - they let you plug them in easily and comfortably without having to strain your hand / neck / eyes.
Since I bought the eVGA 680i board, I don't have that luxury this time around. My case thankfully has the USB and audio connections all together, but the firewire is all seperated... and it's a pain. Any idea if they sell these little adapters seperate? It doesn't have to be ASUS, but it at least has to be IEEE 1394.
On a second note, does anyone know if a 3-to-2 pin adapter for front panel LEDs exists? My power LED is three pin, and my motherboard needs a two pin. I really want to avoid cutting the connector in half if I can.
