I personally haven't and don't think i ever would... but i'd like to see how many people have or would. Feel free to share stories about a few u've been on 🙂
 
I would never go on one. If they start with: "She's really sweet and she has a great personality" RUN!!!
 
I did it once as well. Went to a drive in movie with my neighbor, his girlfriend and her friend. I was 18..she was 17. It actually worked out to be a good night. I never really saw her agian, it wasnt anything special, but it wasnt terrible. I just enjoyed myself, and made my buddy pay for the whole thing.
 
Yes. I knew what she looked like before-hand but she didn't know what I looked like. Went out for 3 years afterwards. I'd do it again...it's only a date.
 
Once, and never ever again!! This guy took me out to a dance. An hour into the date, he starts asking me to commit to him, he wanted a relationship with me. When I politely declined (thinking to myself, nutcase alert) he started telling me how I played him for his money. I had to buy my own dinner, pay my own admission into the dance and buy my own drinks. He bought me one Pepsi the entire night! Needless to say, we did not work out. 😉
 
Yes once. I was bugging a few friends of mine about how great it was being single so one of them set me up with a girl from their company. Well she was amazing. She was cute and smart and I had a great time. Unfortunately she had much higher aspirations then I so it did not go any farther but it was fun.

i think girls have a wierd power to find wierdos and creeps like this, nobody i know would ever do anything like that 🙂
 
Yes. After breaking it off with my 3 year gf last summer, i started chatting with this girl. I'm 22 years old btw. Anyway...she sent me her pics and i sent her mine. she looked good and we talked on the phone for a few days. Well...i was at my friends house swimming at about 10 pm and she called my cellphone and said &quot;come over now and bring some beer&quot; I was like hell ya! So i followed her directions and went to her apartment. When she came to the door I was like WTF!! She was at least 50lbs heavier than in her pics and had like yellow teeth. I sat down so as not to be rude and said &quot;you look a little different than your pic&quot; She said it was from when she was 15 years old and that explained it. I wanted to leave but stayed and drank my beer. After about 5 beers she was starting to look better so I HAD to leave. Never talked to her again. Thats my story

Ive had like 4 blind dates...3 were good..Im still dating one (actually she turned out to be my girlfriend)...

but one was a bust...fine woman...but nothing upstairs...

The ONLY way I would go on a blind date is if the person who is doing the setup must know my taste EXACTLY!...

I am very picky..so my blind dates were babes...my peeps know me well 🙂
 
Only a fool would turn down a blind date IMO. There is always a CHANCE that they could turn out OK...and unless you have the opposite sex beating down your door in first place...you ought not pass up that chance.

Just make sure you always go with a &quot;wtf&quot; attitude so you aren't too disappointed when the other person turns out to by psychotic/heavy/dumb/rude/gassy/etc. Also, VERY IMPORTANT, try to always go on blind dates while you are with another couple...so you have someone to talk to if things go badly.

I went on a blind date a few years ago and this gal didn't say $hit to me all night, but my buddy and his girl were there so I had no problem ignoring her as well talking to them. Worst date of my life, but no biggie, I met my wife the very next night!

ooooh man. blind dates are the worst! my freshman year in high school, i was made to go out with this one girl that i had never seen in person or in a picture. i didnt even want to go to the dance, but i was going as a favor for my friend, judy. so i was set up with judy's friend from school , nancy....and my first impression of her was that she was SCARY! she had so much make up on and she looked like she could beat the crap outta me. so anyways, she was nice at first but at the dance she wouldnt even dance with me, she kept walking around and refused to do anything. then when we finally danced one time, she was freaking me!!!! so what i didnt know about this girl was that she had a reputation for being &quot;around&quot; and so the following days , weeks, and months i got so much crap for having her as my date. even to this day, my friends tease me and say &quot;so how's the missus, naaaaaancy&quot;...... at the present moment she has stolen several items, been kicked outta HS, and i hear she is pregnant. I HATE BLIND DATES 🙂
