we learned about it in psychology, I can't remember why it happens though. it is definately something that a lot of people have, but I don"t think it is because of a feeling of inadequacy.

I had a weird one where me and my older brothers were samurai (sp?) warrior robots (ala something like Voltron), and we had swords and were trying to fend for ourselves against enemy samurai robots. We both ran into my mothers room, and tried holding the door shut with our bodies, but they kept coming through somehow, and we were slashing these robots with our swords, and killing literally hundreds of them.

We were overwhelmed though, and we found out how to defeat them. We unplugged a fvcking powerstrip from the wall recepticle and they all vanished into thin air, we opened the door to the room, my heart still pounding from all the action, and I turned to my right and there my mother is in the kitchen snapping string beans and not having a clue as to what happened. I turned back around, and those fvcking robots come back, and at that point I woke up in complete confusion and disarray.

I felt like I was actually fighting in a war in that dream. The only vivid dream that I can think of, besides the falling through hell one.

That sounds awesome.

I love dreams honestly. For me they're like some crazy ass vacation where anythings possible. The good the bad or the ugly.

And the best part? I go on these vacations EVERYNIGHT!#@$

Wooh, I'm probably the only dude you'll ever meet that enjoys going to sleep to have dreams, as much as I do.

I remember several a night, I'd say 9/10 are vivid, but most are only partial. Confusing "what the he.." type dreams.

My last most vivid and completely awesome, I'm talking seeing an old lady do an endo on a superbike awesome level here, was a few weeks ago.

I had a dream I was in like Braveheart times. Carried out on your shield in battle times. We were going to war and I was "the man" I guess. The kid who could possibly kill the infamous battlefield "Destroyer." Swear to goodness that's what they called him. I actually met him beforehand with the prince or king or someone so we could look for eachother in the battle. Holy sh!t balls was that an experience. It was crazy when I was walking the lines among hundreds of men, and I could see people I've known for years and caught eyes while none of us had any words.

I remember I was amazed at the amount of equipment that was set up.

While the women and children were dressing up as peasants (including the princess! I saw her, I kept it a secret) and sneaking out of the back.

I could write out the most detailed story on it from a first person perspective and it would be greatness. The emotions, suprises etc. were all amazingly vivid.

Anyways, long story short, the most emotionally charged part was right before the battle in the final minute, everyone squaring off all knowing in the next 60 seconds it was on, as soon as we heard the word.

Anyways, yea, I really enjoy me dreams.

Ok my dog is trying to bark in his dream next to me (wierd, yet completely true) so that means I must be off soon, and prepare for the stupid ass adventures that await me tonight.

Never had something like that, but a long time ago I used to have the dreams where I couldn't escape.

Then when I first became a cop I had dreams where my gun wouldn't fire.

The most recent dream of that sort has been where I have no trouble at all pulling the trigger, and what ensues is an ultra-violent slow-motion death.

Read into THAT all you wish.
