Ever been blocked by someone on AIM?

I went out with a girl for about 6 weeks this past semester of college... it was a pretty good relationship, one of the first times that I didn't fvck things up in my usual ways. We broke things off before the summer because we weren't serious enough to keep things up for 3 months a few thousand miles apart. The split was really amicable, and I was pleased with the end result.

She got an internship at a university in another state this summer, and until last night I'd just assumed that she either didn't take her computer with her or she didn't have internet access... she's usually pretty big on using AIM.

Anyhow last night I was using a secondary AIM account to receive a file transfer from a friend, and lo and behold my ex is online. I thought nothing of it until I checked my primary account and she was offline. You know what that means... I'm being blocked!

I'm not mad, really... I'm just really confused. I can't think of anything in the world that I might've done to prompt this. The last time we talked (5 weeks ago) we were on great terms, and now this? Eh, fvck it... it's not like I'm trying to hit it or anything... I already did THAT.

Anyhow, this would be YAGT but fvck it, I'm not looking for advice or anything... it's a "Ever been blocked by someone on AIM?" thread

Ever been blocked by someone on AIM? Did you deserve it? Blah blah blah write on the subject.

No.. but a girl I was with for 8 months (things seemed great) just disappeared from my life and stopped talking to me. No break-up or anything. She just vanished, but I know she is okay from her friends.

Just forget about the hoe and not care.

ishould tell you that Ive blocked a female friend for a very stupid reason.

we talked to each other online alot, and knowing about her life's little details wasn't making me a happy person when she was in another state. i was yearning for her every single day and i couldnt have her.. one day i decided ic ouldnt stand it anymore so i blocked her and never told her. i just let her drop out of my life that way.

in conclusion: when you dont see them online, dont talk to them, or email them...they drop away from your life. and sometimes you feel better that way.

This girl who used to bug me online has me blocked. I never started a conversation with her though I normally abswered all her ims. I laughed when I found out since I had no interest in her whatsoever...
