ever archive webpages (not sites)

for converting webpages to pdfs... pdfcreator seems buggy, and so I'm testing primopdf now...

does anyone else like archiving a simple page as a pdf? would there be something else better?

I have Acrobat 6 or 7, Pro version I think, whatever came with the CS Premium Suite. I've used it on web pages and they never come out perfect. It's like languages, something is lost in translation. Best bet is to use Internet Explorer and save the page as a .mht, which saves the web page and all the pictures and stuff in one single file.

i know, i only use the pdf saving aspect when a page cannot be saved as a .mht

some sites have pages that are notorious for not being able to save.

yeah. I guess the most perfect you could hope to get (aside from an actual copy of the site files), is to take screenshots of the pages and to stitch them together. The PDF option just isn't perfect. I use it for doing receipts when I buy stuff online, keep them in a folder so I don't have to print them out but still have a record.
