When using Easy Cd Creator Platinum version 5.1.0.104 (latest patch from Roxio website) to burn Cd?s with my Plexwriter 121032A the following warning and errorrepports are registered in my Windows XP Home Edition Logs.
These logfiles are made if I copy files (with Roxio) from my harddisk or from my Acer DVP1648A DVD drive to my CDRWdrive.
My Plextor CD RW is master and the DVD is slave. I am using a brand new rounded ATA Hama Ultra ATA 66/100/133 cable which has costed 34,90 Eur, so it can?t be a deffective cable. I have had this errors whith previous cheap cables.
My system:
Abit KR7A, AMD 1800+ XP, 512 MB DDR Apacer, Radeon 64 MB DDR VIVO, Audigy Player, Seagate Barracuda IV 40 GB, DVD Acer DVP1648 A, Plextor 121032A, Chieftec Dragon DA-01 W cooled by 4 Titan 80 mm 2500 RPM case fans, running Windows XP Home Ed.
What could be the cause of these logfiles? The data on the cd?s seems to be ok, but I must be sure that they are not corrupted.
Also when playing music CD's sometimes error id 11 occurs, the dvdplayer seems to stutter and after a few seconds the cd plays further but an errorreports is registered in the Win XP logs. Sometimes the cd stops playing and the dvddrive can not be opened via the ejectbutton, only way to open the drive is via the explorer or to reset the system, if the system is not reset everything becomes unstable, after a reset everything works normal again.
I have translated the dutch (I don't think anyone speaks my language on this forum) messages in English, so they may vary from the English version.
