Socialism is more popular than Tea Partiers. See SS and Medicare.
If it were phrased like that, then I'd agree. I do not believe though that the average person thinks of Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid when he or she thinks of socialism. That makes me suspect that the poll primed the pump by describing such programs as socialism, THEN asking how the respondent feels about socialism. Thus, a push poll.

Perhaps because she's not particularly bright, fairly far from mainstream, and subject to continuous hysterical attacks from the left and major media - but I repeat myself. That's not a good combination for popularity. I will point out though that her popularity and Obama's were about the same prior to the Giffords shooting - which does point out the benefit of owning the vast majority of the news media to which most people are exposed.

One would think an Administrator and a Elite member would have a better grasp of the English language to express himself. But I am still a bit puzzled by the unbridled hatred many have toward Sarah Palin.

Well if I worried about your sensitivities to strong language I might make an effort not to upset you, however I couldn't care less. In addition, if I were posting as an Admin, and I wasn't, I wouldn't use that language.

Now close your eyes as what I'm about to post might offend you.

The reason given by some for the strong dislike of Sarah Palin is that they think she is an opportunistic attention whore who looks for every oportunity to get her name in the press and the American Public is getting sick of her shit.

No offense, but she has her own reality show, a Faux News built and paid for set in her house in Alaska, She's paid to speak at many functions, she's the "voice" of the tea baggers, and she's "written" two books, plus she spouts off on twitter and Facebook...sounds like she "owns" alot of media access herself.

Agreed. It's funny though, I generally like Sarah Palin and I haven't seen her or read her writing in months. Seems like those who hate her must be virtually bombarded by her presence to maintain that level of visceral, foaming hatred.

Maybe she's like the Democrats, the more you see her the less you like her. I believe that's called the Alvin Greene principle. :D
