If it were phrased like that, then I'd agree. I do not believe though that the average person thinks of Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid when he or she thinks of socialism. That makes me suspect that the poll primed the pump by describing such programs as socialism, THEN asking how the respondent feels about socialism. Thus, a push poll.Socialism is more popular than Tea Partiers. See SS and Medicare.
