www.6ave.com has NHT 2.5i for only $595 with $75 S/H. onecall.com has NHT 1.5 $320 shipped, A-center1 $240 shipped. If you live in bayarea, maybe you can call onecall.com to ask PM 6ave.com and then pickup by yourself to save shipping. The speakers should be shipped to you directly from factory (as my 3.3). NHT is on 680 between 80 and the toll bridge.

Another choice is probably you can ask your local NHT dealer to match this price since both online stores is authorized dealer. You won't go wrong with this MSRP $1300 speakers. Ask how much your friends paid for it if they bought it before 2001. Again, these shipped price is LOWER than ebay price before shipping.
 
darn, i checked ebay and people pay 200-500+ more, that why i don't buy stuff from ebay before check here first.

good find, these made a great home theater speakers.
 
Last Friday, I placed an order from 6ave for my 2.5i's, the price at 10AM was 648 plus 62 shipping. They called me at noon to tell me that they would be lowering the price to 595 plus 62 shipping and wanted to tell me they'd be giving me the cheaper price (amazing). Also, last Friday, I ordered the AC-1 and the 1.5 (not enough bass IMHO to be used alone, but as rears are awesome). Anyway, the whole system is setup for about $1200 and sounds INCREDIBLE!

I bought 2 pair of the NHT 2.5i speakers from 6th Ave - the next day they were delivered!

NOW I found them for $474 per pair at Speaker Hut! Good thing I used the Blue! Here comes $242!
 
Don't I feel stupid! 🙂

I didn't know they were even available each as there is a left and right speaker - I haven't seen anyone selling them individually.

Oh well ... It was fun living in ignorance for a while!
 
That is a good price for the NHTs. They rock with my Marantz.

when I bought mine I haggled with our local dealer to reduce the price a lot .. i dont rememebr how much...
but haggling works............

The 2.5i is on there current circular and have been for the past 3 weeks. I'm located in NJ so I get them every week. I'm going over and picking up a pair this week and PM to Speaker Hut. Thanks for reminding me.
