If I'm fealing mean I'll just say it flat out sucks. There's only 2 or 3 good tracks on here, compared to the ass kickery that was Fallen.
So Crossfade's new album was a COMPLETE failure, this one doesn't suck completely, Linkin Park's better be awesome or I'm going to go on a band killing spree.

Yeah, but everyone knows Linkin Park is awesome by nature, so, my statement is a technical impossibility, right? RIGHT?

heh, I actually feel the opposite. I listened to the new album, then Fallen again. Save, My Immortal, Going Under, and Bring Me to Life, I think Fallen flat out sucks compared to the new album. I didn't like the new album at first though, so maybe it will grow on you.
 
most all newer bands and albums suck - mainstream music, gotta love it. alot of people will buy it and like it because their told too.

Au Contraire, Evanescence is mediocre at best without Ben Moody.

i thought crossfade's self titled album was pretty good. linkin park is meh though - everything sounds the same almost

I thought it sucked when I first listened to it and still do after listening to it over and over to see if it had to grow on me (it didn't)

 
Isn't Evanescence the band that angsty, suburban girls listen to? Angsty boys from the suburbs should just stick with Linkin Park. It's the way God intended.

I'm no angstry, suburban girl and I really liked the Evanescence - Fallen. I've heard mixed reviews for The Open Door. Some of the radion stations around here have been playing one of the new songs. I like it.
 
It's pretty bad. I listened to the fist 8 or 9 tracks and there was nothing i liked at all. Fallen was a much better album.

I've given it, and alot of the other crappy new albums out *cough* Sam's Town, more than a fair chance. The only tracks that I really like are "Cloud Nine" and "Snow White Queen". "Call Me When You're Sober" is decent but its already getting old. If Muse and Audioslave's new albums are solid 10/10 albums, this POS gets 5, maybe 6/10.
 
I've listened to the first 6 tracks so far, and they've all been pretty weak... even "Call Me When You're Sober". I hope the other tracks will be better.
