Evanescence "Away From Me"

I recently re-found it on a CD in my car..but I have no idea where it originally came from -- was it from a movie soundtrack..some other CD (I have 'Fallen'), or..?

(FWIW, those not Evanescence fans - it's a real shame, but their 4 "unreleased" albums before "Fallen" were much, MUCH, MUCH better!)

Yeah, I think you're right. They're a great new band, but considering how long it took for them to release "Fallen" and the fact that they've already replaced a band member, I'd expect us to see a new album by what....maybe 2013?

I believe they had an earlier album, Origin, which it may be from. I could look it up, but allmusic.com is your friend.

Evanescence has urged fans to download these since they are no longer in print.

Missing and Breathe No More (piano only) are sweet pieces of music.

IMO, Origin was much better than Fallen.

It WAS released... and no longer being made... hence the reason they were going for $200 each on eBay when Fallen was new... people had rediscovered a then-rare item.

yes "Breath no more" is the only track I listen to from them.

it was, you can buy it on ebay. the problem was the company that produced it held back on stock, inflating the prices. copies were going for over $100 and nothing was going to the band. so on the radio, they publically said "go download the old stuf online, we're not getting anything from it"

Altho, I wouldn't mind going in on a group buy, and then getting a flac image made and distributed for all their stuff.
