Europeans suck at teh cars

Europeans losing market share to Asian, American auto makers

Finally at least US Automakers aren't last in quality improvements. But the bad thing is most people who stopped buying European bought Asian. Cmon Detroit lets get some of that market!

You're ignoring the dollar's slide vs the Euro. That is a massive part of it, because Japan keeps buying dollars to keep their market attractive.

The American Dollar is way down at almost historic lows vs the Euro. Because of this a European car costs an American consumer much more than it used to. Thus, sales are going to slump until the dollar rebounds. The plus side for Europe is that they get American products cheaper. The downfall is that their exports are more expensive to Americans(number one economy) and thus their exports suffer. The Japanese have kept the Yen stable vs the dollar by buying greenbacks, so that means that they price change there was much less. It makes much sense then that Japanese cars are still able to offer rebates and incentives, whereas the Europeans can hardly sell their cars.

It's not that German cars suck...it's just that domestics and the Japanese are copying German design and characteristics and offering a comperable car for less.

German cars don't suck...the other guys are just doing better than they have in the past.
