I heard on (US)National Public Radio Saturday morning,June 9th,2001 that the EU in conjunction with the FBI has passed a law requiring that all e/mail, IM's,Newsgroup Messages, etc.....EVERYTHING transmitted over the 'net...is to be saved for seven years!
That seems a bit intrusive dontcha think? And I wonder how and who will pay for all of this archiving?(guess).
