So a married couple I know is going on a European cruise starting in Barcelona in June, which is going around the Medaterrian(sp?). The way it works is that the cruise ship sails at night to the new location, and then during the day you visit that place. This seems like a great alternative to traditional travel because you wouldn't have to book a hotel, or car/train/plane to travel from city to city. But I guess you are kinda limited in the amount of time you have in each city, because the cruise liner has specific arrival and departure times. Thoughts?
