European compatiblity issues for building Computers

I'm building a computer for a friend who lives in Africa.

I need to buy a power supply compatible with european electrical currant (i think its 220 watt)

and I need key boards in french since thats there main language.

Where can i go on the internet to buy items such as these?

Also if you can think of any other issues I might be facing while building this computer, I'd be more then happy to know, thanks.

Non-English Keyboards at Directron - they're like $10-$20

As for the power supply... virtually every ATX PSU I've seen has a little switch on the back (it's usually red, you need a pin or screwdriver to flip it) that allows you to select 115 V (American) or 220 V (European).

Other stuff... just remember to install the language pack for the country he's in when you set his machine up. Tip: Don't assume French in France is the same as French in whatever African country he's in. I made that mistake setting up a system for an Argentinian client (Mexico Spanish != Argentinian Spanish).

🙂
