I don't have a TV card, so I wouldn't know, sorry.

While recording something with a VCR, you can't record Teletext. Maybe the (ATI) TV card will allow him to record teletext (subtitles).

Are there any owners of TV cards here in Europe who could try recording something with subtitles (Teletext) on?
