Got one. Found I'd also picked up Bioshock as a freebie from Gamefly last fall.

Paradox makes incredibly immersive and detailed games. They can have a bit of a steep learning curve but incredibly fun to play if you are into this type of game. Great developer involvement on the forums and they readily support and embrace the modding community

It kinda plays like Excel

This series of games is insane. Incredibly complex, more micromanagement and longer campaigns than any game I've ever seen. Watching someone play it is like watching 2 people play chess. Playing it yourself is really difficult because it has a really intense learning curve, but once you have invested enough of yourself to learn so much about a game and how to play it, you kind of just lose 5 hours whenever you start it.

I started a new campaign yesterday. 12 hours in, I am at 1460, through royal marriage and conquest I own Ireland, Scotland, Norway, Iceland, Aragon, Castille, Naples and Corsica. Castille and Corsica have 9% revolt risk but I have an army that is 30k sitting in spain and a 5k army in corsica that is set to hunt rebels and they destroy all rebels. I also have a personal union with Denmark.

I now own what is known as modern day eastern seaboard, the entire carribbean, most of south america, all of east africa, all of europe and pretty much all of alexander the greats empire. I have 40 years left until end game for this empire.
