awesome video, quality sucks though!
but all the same, thanks!

Well, I got a High Quality Version, but considering the web, you have to make compromises!

How big is the DVD you're speaking of? I could host it maybe for a couple people.

OK OK, so I finaly had time and did it the right way. While I was at it I took some of your recomendations and as a part of that you know hear some comentary. Overall better quality I think!

EURO 2004 Highlights

The horrid soundtrack still haunts.

🙁

i think that song grew on me.. i like it..
i think it's cuz they play it on the radio 24/7 here..

and what's the time limit on celebrations.. we still have zillions of cars driving around the city with greek flags attached to the windows.

Beckham is like Figo... great star that can shine, but as every human... have their bad day. Beckham was working a lot, but was far from Brilliant in the tourney!

Where are you at Kaiser? Must be a large Greek crowd around you!

in Toronto... we have a huge greek population... (and italian, and portugeese).. and a lot of other ones as well for that matter..

the night the greeks won "greektown" was flooded with thousands and thousands of people... there was a huge street party that lasted all night...

anytime there is a big soccer event (world cup or euro) there are always 1000's of cars driving around downtown with their country's flag on the windows honking their horms all around town after a victory.

Sounds like fun to me! 😉

Soccer Clip Archive also has a lot of other soccer clips ... the only thing is that the downloads were running at 400kb/s a couple days ago and lately theyre running at 3kb/s for me... u guys can give it a try (edit: i just checked today and theyre running as fast as ever)

great link. I too miss the whole Euro 2004 because of pay per view.
Its too much luxury for a student to pay so much.

The quality on the clips there isn't much to talk about though... what about Karsten's DVD quality ones though *cough cough* hehe.

pay per view??? wow... they showed every game on TSN (canada's ESPN clone) which is just regular cable tv.. we are also getting all the Copa America games right now on TLN.

Yeap, I paid 160$ to watch all Games. Sad... but on the other side, it was worth it. I got some good enjoyment out of it!

that cool.. ii would pay that if i had to as well..
jsut seems strange to me that you have all those sports channels in the states and the big soccer tournaments are on pay per view.. and up here in Canada we only have 2 and a half major sports channels and we get all the soccer tournaments for free on regular cable..
guess someone at the head of those sports channels here loves soccer/football.

I liked the vid, but I really like to watch the buildup of the play that made the goal as much as the goal itself. Amazing how it happens.

Most of the games are still up on bittorrent...try suprnova.org.

I have every Euro 2004 match on DivX with english commentary.

Too bad that most games on the net don't have the BBC comentary. They had by far the best and I enjoyed their insights and knowlage quite a bit!
