The 2004 has better handling and a better setup than the 2001. Vehicle stability control helps on the snow too.
Strange way to turn on and to park the car though. To turn it on you just press the power on button (with the key still in your pocket). To drive, you move the shift lever to "D", but the lever immediately pops back to its usual position. In other words, it simply acts as an electronic switch. You can't move the shift lever to "P" either, because "P" doesn't exist on the lever. Instead, you just press a separate "P" button.
