List of all official registrars:

Gah.. seems that you have to have some tie to the EU though, either residing in the EU, or what not...

Eligibility: Who can register a .EU domain name?

All applicants for a .eu domain name, should meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
» Undertakings having their registered office, central administration or principal place of business within the European Community
» Organizations established within the European Community without prejudice to the application of national law
» Natural persons resident within the European Community.

That's definitely a pain....

Edit:

Was just looking at registrar's and such, and one's FAQ, they stated you could register a company here:

Seems like this allows you to register a company in the UK, then you can transfer ownership of the domain to the "company". Although I don't know if I'd want to go THAT far just for a domain name. I might just ask relatives living in Europe to do it for me.
