etymology help...DONE!

my etymology teacher is really stupid. he tells us what we cant write down for our answers AFTER we take the test. so we basically took our test blindfolded today. ridiculous. he even said that "it is our fault for doing so."

example of what im talking about:

the root is crat/cras (meaning mix). the textbook also gives you a word that has the root and meaning in it. the book gave us "crater", which means a greek mixing bowl. we cant write "crater" on the test, because it is already in the book. wtf?

since we cant use words from the textbook, we have to manually find them in the dictionary/online dictionary. i cant find a word that has crat/cras it besides crater, which is in the book.

crat/cras is a greek root btw.

please help. its been frustrating just to look up 1 root for over an hour.
