Ok guys I've been looking for a nicer etrex than my yellow one. Just that the non-base map is just no fun, and almost worthless driving around.

Heres how the deal works out (FYI Phone order only, perhaps internet)
$249.99 (Staples Price)
-$66.00 (Price Match to amazon.com, FYI they can't charge you 2 day shipping as Staples shipping time is 1-2 week)
-$20 off $100 coupon (FYI there is a $30 off $150 coupon that expires today but it seams that the code is no longer valid as my CSR couldn't get it to work)
------------- (subtotal)
$163.99 + tax (free shipping)

-$50 (Garmin MIR)
-----------
$113.99 (net price)

This is the greatest GPS in my opinion I love my yellow eTrex, but the Legend supports all of the extra features including a higher resolution screen, 5 way cursor button, and 8mb memory. Slightly lower battery life than the standard etrex. Only the 2nd from top model Vista is the only higher and has the 24mb memory, but almost a $100 higher MSRP. So as the deal works out you get the almost top end etrex including data cable for just slightly higher than basic etrex cost!

If anyone is intrested in buying a yellow etrex + data cable pm me :)

Nice deal!

I've been wanting one of these for a while, and this is a great price.

Great price, just wish my laptop had Serial port(s). It doesn't even have PS/2. This seems to be the trend in not just laptops but also motherboards, rather annoying...

I've got this GPS myself and it is very nice! I got it for $99 AR by doing a price match about a month ago. There were two rebates at the time... Good luck to all on this deal. -TAL

I found the wrong one and now I got the rebate form. Thanks a lot. I have looked for this good deal for a long time!

My uncle picked one up for me from Cabella's bargain cave and got it for $100 before rebate. It was a open box item, but the upc was still there and I emailed Garmin and they said to go ahead and send in the receipt and upc for the $50 rebate. If it goes thru, that will be about $55 AR with tax. My dad already had the MapSource software, so I updated mine with a few cities I drive to often and still got pleanty of memory...only using about 20% of it. It's a great GPS and works ok for city navigating too with built in Points of Interest and the route feature is pretty easy to use. For $114, I would have gotten too, but I just got lucky to get one from my uncle!
