I am using 10/100
if i upgrade to 10/100/1000 will i see a dsl speed increase?
Its around 400kbps but its ad. as 1500

Gigabit ethernet is only really useful for transfring data over a LAN, Broadband isnt to the point yet where it can saturate a 10/100 NIC

you wont see a speed increase. 10/100 ethernet runs just as stated, typically either 10Mb or 100Mb depending on your hardware. DSL is typically 1.5MB or less, so either way with 10/100/1000 Mb ethernet you have much more bandwidth than your theoretical maximum.

Your localnetwork will scream though.....But only handy if you have multiple pc's and are moving large files or lots of data often.
