I installed Etherlords 2 on my new computer, but it crashes before anything happens. (emphasis on anything) There's no error message, just that stupid "Send Error Report" XP thing.
Comp specs:
XP Home SP1
Athlon 64 3200+
eVGAm 7800GT GeForce (PCIe card)
2GB RAM
Soundblaster Audigy2 ZS
Now I did take notice that the requirements call for an AGP card graphics card (i.e. not PCIe), and it did work on my computer that has an AGP card, could that be the problem? It seems a little silly for that to be the problem, though, because I don't ever remember seeing anything for the DirectX API involving stuff like that. I've restarted my computer and reinstalled it several times, but it still doesn't work. I'm working on getting the latest driver as we speak, but that might take a while because I'm on a 28k connection. So while I'm waiting, any ideas?
Addendum: Meh, I put it on an old hard drive. Thanks a lot AT. :\
