Eternal Darkness

Playing through this game again right now and still love it just as much as before. I really wish someone would make a part 2 or at least release a better looking version of the original.

Definately one of the creepier games ever produced. I remember loading it up for the first time in a house we had just moved into, in the pitch black darkness all alone, in the middle of a thunderstorm. I'll admit it - I had to turn the lights on eventually. 😉

Not to thread crap, but I found it to be one of the least scary "scary games" ever made. Nothing[ about it seemed at all disturbing or scary, and it was terribly generic in so many of its scares.
It was like playing a Goosebumps book.

I didn't really think it was "scary" either, but that wasn't what made it fantastic.

It wasnt scary from front to back but, to this day, it is still the only game to ever make me jump out out of fear and really scare me.

Playing Silent Hill 2 in the dark in college made me freak out a few times. Eternal Darkness was awesome. One of my favorite games.

I got it bundled with a Gamecube I bought on ebay years ago. I'd never heard anything about it before... man was I lucky.
