In case you don't know what I am talking about...
http://www.sapphiretechdirect.com/products/3870.php

Does anyone here know when the release date will be? I really want to purchase it but I have yet to see a single release date. So does anyone know?

For the record, I am well aware of the 8800GT/S performance over the 3870, but it I like the bundle of stuff that comes with this card.

I don't know, but I am impressed with that card. If anything, Nvidia should take notice on how a good single slot cooler should be designed. I read reviews of the Sapphire Atomic 3870, and it runs at higher clocks, but also cooler, quieter and takes up only one slot, compared to the reference card.

Single-slot is highly desirable, especially if it does run cool enough. Other than the cooling, it's hard to see any difference from normal 3870s... man, sometimes that marketing tripe is so predictably over the top...

Are the price figures out?

The 3870 x2 is coming out next week (rumor) so hopefully, this thing will be less expensive.

It comes with more than the discontinued "Black Box" and I just want portal and tf2 anyway.

Newegg has one that looks similar, although it doesn't say that its the Atomic version.

Its not the atomic, its their new design using the same cooler as atomic but at reference card speeds and no bundles.
