estimate price of changing gear box on 94 dodge?

94 dodge shadow. auto. the gear box dont have letter of the D / R / N ect..... and it dont have light that glow. it drive fine... just have to recognize the line of gear of place of the Drive and reverse.

it does not have light glow on the gear box which it cannot drive at night. although just remember where is the drive and reverse but still uncomfortable.

(it also does not have indicator)


1: how much to let a shop change/fix gear box?
2: is it easy to fix yourself?

It's a 94 shadow... just drive the car...

it's likely just a bulb/fuse/wire issue, but it really doesn't have any affect on driveability. Just feel for the gear. How hard is that?

This. You don't need to change the transmission to fix this.

If it really bugs you put a piece of masking tape over it and mark where D N R should be.

when i switch gear it dont have lock i mean allign. you know when you switch from parking to Drive? you can feel the allign right? but this you can barely feel the allign. sometimes drive on the street and i put on drive and push pedal then it feel like neutral as i push the pedal it go roon roon.. it dont accel i was like what the fuck happend at first and move on to the side curb.... turns out the gear is not fully on drive... it was on drive and a bit to other gear a bit.
 
No gym for home, work out floor with 30, but is it for 20 like 30 lb when you no lift it to be for men, for 30 lbs instead? or half is 10 for 20 pounds?

Trying to decipher that, I will just take it as the trans isn't working as it should..

I would think a used trans could be found for about 300-500 bucks. probably 5 to 10 hrs of shop time to swap out. all in all figure 800 bucks on the low side
