Here is a short article on how some people have pegged the number of iPad sales, along with a predicted breakdown in terms of wifi/3g and storage size.

Obviously the 120,000 number is a guestimate, but assuming it is true I think this quote sums it up well:
"Apple has been able to generate over $75 million in revenue in one day on a product that 99.9% of purchasers haven't touched or for that matter, even seen in person," said Victor Castroll, an analyst with Valcent Financial Group. "And, we're still three weeks away. That is amazing."

pretty interesting...

Does anyone know which of its return policies that Apple will use for the iPad? My wife wants one, but if she gets it and the AT&T 3G coverage sucks where she'd use it, she isn't going to be inclined to keep it. Apple's return policy is 14 days for Macs and iPods, 30 days for iPhone. Their policies are written specific to the product, so it's hard to know what terms will apply.

Does anyone have the language that you presumably received during the preorder process?
